Closure Notice
Professional Learning Day
Monday, October 19, 2026
Please be reminded that all RisingOaks Early Learning programs will be closed on Monday, October 19, for a Professional Learning Day.
In the morning, our educators will join colleagues from across Waterloo Region to reflect, share ideas and learn together. Sessions will explore topics such as co-regulation and self-regulation, the connection between food and children's mental health, and Simple Interactions with Dr. Junlei Li.
In the afternoon, our teams will return to their centres for learning and professional development focused on their individual programs.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Ongoing professional learning and reflective practice are essential to providing high-quality early learning experiences for children and families. We value this opportunity for our educators to learn, grow and bring new ideas back to their daily practice.
